Job DescriptionOur client, a reputable healthcare organization, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join their team in Richmond Hill, ON. Start date: ASAP - 11 week contract (possible extension based on business needs) Pay rate: $19/hour. Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am-4:30pm. Location: Richmond Hill (Fully on-site). Roles and ResponsibilitiesAssist with the recruitment and onboarding process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.Create, maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.Support the HR team in coordinating training and development programs for staff members.Manage employee attendance and time-off records.Assist in maintaining HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.Handle general HR inquiries and provide administrative support to the HR team as needed.Qualifications and SkillsPrevious HR experience or education.Knowledge of HR best practices Excellent customer service, organizational and time management skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism.
