Arrowhead Winch engineers and manufactures industrial winch, hoist and drive systems under the BRADEN, CARCO and Gearmatic brand names in Broken Arrow and Okmulgee, Oklahoma. We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Project Manager. This position is fully on-site, office based role located in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Project Manager Overview:
The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, monitoring, documenting, and improving the execution of all aspects of new product development projects for Arrowhead Winch, with a primary focus on applying Agile principles and practices. Project Manager Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Skillfully and successfully use project management principles and techniques, including Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban), to drive new product development projects for the organization.
Coordinate with groups and departments to drive new product development projects to completion, facilitating Agile ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives) as needed.
Provide clear and concise written reports and presentations to communicate project status with relevant stakeholders, including Agile metrics (burn-down charts, velocity, etc...
Obtain project phase gate approvals from product committee.
Develop and actively manage effective working relationships with the project team, internal and external customers or partners, contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
Develop and maintain timelines/roadmaps and Agile backlogs for new product development projects.
Lead planning meetings and project updates including detailed and complex stakeholder presentations, ensuring alignment between Agile teams and traditional phase-gate processes
Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and correctly filed.
Drive to maintain consistency through projects, championing Agile best practices and continuous improvement.
Monitor project cost and report on how actual cost compares to the budget.
Identify potential issues which could affect the project timeline, cost, or the project's success and implement solutions to minimize these effects to projects.
Identify and implement changes to the new development process to improve new product development efficiency, including the adoption and refinement of Agile ways of working
Maintain ISO procedures regarding the product creation process.
Occasional travel is required.
Qualifications:
2+ years of project management experience
Experience leading Agile project teams in a product development environment
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of project management experience
Experience helping an organization adopt or scale Agile principles and practices.
5+ years of experience in manufacturing, industrials, or durable goods (e.g., automotive, hardware, equipment) product development.
Project Manager Professional (PMP) Certification and/or Agile certification (e.g., ScrumMaster, PMI-ACP). anager / team lead experience
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Must remain in a stationary position (sit/stand) for extended periods.
Must operate a computer for extended periods.
Must have adequate vision for computer work and reviewing documents.
Must be physically capable of lifting, up to 50 lbs., occasionally.
Must be physically capable of occasional bending, squatting, or stooping.
Must be able to hear and speak clearly for effective communication.
Must be physically capable of standing for extended periods in a shop setting.
Must be physically able to handle parts and be around heavy equipment.
Must wear required PPE when in applicable areas.
