Line Cook/Prep Cook

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent kitchen skills, and experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Duties

• Prepare and assemble ingredients for menu items according to recipes and standards
• Cook and plate dishes efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards
• Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
• Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation regulations
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
• Support the team during busy service times to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Follow all food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure guest safety
• Assist in inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of supply needs

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
• Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Strong understanding of the food industry and customer service expectations
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration
