Server Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server Assistant to support our restaurant team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will assist with food and beverage service, maintain cleanliness, and ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Responsibilities

• Assist servers with delivering food and beverages to guests promptly and accurately
• Prepare tables by setting up utensils, napkins, and condiments to ensure a welcoming dining environment
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including clearing tables and sanitizing surfaces regularly
• Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring food safety standards are met
• Handle guest inquiries courteously and provide excellent customer service to enhance guest satisfaction
• Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and billing purposes
• Restock supplies and assist with inventory management to ensure smooth service flow
• Follow food safety protocols and proper handling procedures during meal preparation and serving
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with health regulations
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient restaurant operations during peak hours

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
• Basic knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and meal preparation techniques
• Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or cashiering is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Prior experience in hotel or barista roles is advantageous but not mandatory

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.85 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week

Work Location: In person
