OVERVIEW:
We are currently seeking applicants to work in our Windsor facility as an TPT (Temporary Part Time) Assembly Operator.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Rotates amongst the various operations within the cell, to perform all assembly functions required while ensuring the daily principles of safety, quality, delivery and productivity are followed at all times to produce high quality parts for our customers.
  • Follows work instructions to assemble high quality parts
  • Produces parts within prescribed amount of time
  • Ensures all necessary safety equipment is used and worn at all times
  • Follows defined standardized work instructions and process conformance procedures to ensure quality parts are produced
  • Brings to the attention of the Line Leader or Trainer any quality, safety, or productivity issues
  • Performs all assembly tasks within defined time to meet production goals
  • Follows policies and procedures and maintains a positive working relationship with team members
  • Visual inspection of parts to ensure they meet established standards

 
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Meet physical demands of constant walking, frequent reaching, and occasional bending
  • Must be available to work shift work
  • Minimum Grade 12 education required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; reach with hands; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
 
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
