I have developed a functional Android Launcher designed for seniors (PopsPhone). The project is currently in v0.9 Alpha state: the core logic (Home Grid, Custom SMS Hub, SOS System, Alarms, Native Torch) is already implemented and pushed to GitHub.
I am looking for an experienced Flutter Developer to partner with me to polish, refine, and stabilize the app, taking it from Alpha to a Production-Ready v1.0 Release.
How we will work:
I will provide you with access to the repository and assign specific tasks/modules one by one. We will discuss the details of each implementation step-by-step to ensure high quality and stability.
Fundamental Knowledge Required:
You must be comfortable working with code that interacts heavily with the Android Native ecosystem.
Deep Android Knowledge: Understanding of , Launch Modes (singleTop/singleTask), and Intent Filters is mandatory.
Permissions Management: Experience handling sensitive permissions (SMS, Phone, Contacts, System Alert Window/Overlay) and Google Play policies.
Background Execution: Solid understanding of AlarmManager, flutter_local_notifications, and how to bypass battery optimizations on OEM devices (Xiaomi/Samsung/Oppo).
Method Channels & Native Code: Ability to debug or implement native Android code (Kotlin/Java) if Flutter plugins fall short.
Responsive UI: Experience making layouts adaptable to various screen sizes and densities.
