Owner Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Owner Operator Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves operating commercial vehicles to transport freight efficiently and safely across various routes. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, experience with heavy equipment, and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards. As an Owner Operator, you will have the opportunity to manage your own schedule while ensuring timely deliveries and excellent customer service.

Duties

• Safely operate commercial trucks and heavy equipment to transport freight to designated locations.
• Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy machinery as needed.
• Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and freight to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to maintain vehicle functionality.
• Manage freight documentation, including delivery logs, bills of lading, and other required paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transit.
• Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local transportation laws and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, or automotive repair skills is preferred.
• Proven experience in freight transportation and commercial driving.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills for managing routes, schedules, and freight documentation.
• Physical ability to load/unload cargo and perform vehicle inspections.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and freight handling.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $99,948.21-$311,999.65 per year
