Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily front-of-house operations, ensuring that service excellence and a welcoming atmosphere are consistently maintained.
- Lead and support the front-of-house team, providing guidance and training to uphold high standards of service.
- Manage guest interactions, addressing feedback and resolving issues to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Assist on the floor with various tasks, including food and drink running, bussing, expediting orders, and maintaining tables to support smooth service.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service and operational efficiency.
- Assist in managing inventory and supplies, including ordering and stock control.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service initiatives that enhance guest satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe and clean environment for both guests and staff.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a front-of-house leadership role in a high-volume, upscale restaurant or bar setting.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations with proven ability to lead and support a team.
- Experience in managing guest relations, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and handling feedback effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building strong relationships with guests and team members.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and operational challenges.
- Passion for the restaurant industry and a desire to grow within the organization.
