Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and restaurant standards
• Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation
• Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and storage
• Follow food safety protocols and proper handling procedures to ensure health standards are met
• Support the team during busy service periods by ensuring timely meal preparation
• Restock supplies as needed and assist with inventory management
• Adhere to all restaurant policies regarding food handling, sanitation, and safety

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a line/prep cook in a restaurant setting
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
• Knowledge of meal preparation techniques across various cuisines is a plus
• Serving experience or background in food service is beneficial but not required
