Barista/Customer Service

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting environment, and ensuring that our customers have an enjoyable experience. This role requires strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment and utensils.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and taking their orders accurately.
• Handle cash transactions and manage cash register operations with precision.
• Assist in food preparation and handling as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Engage with customers to provide recommendations and answer any questions about menu items.
• Monitor inventory levels of supplies and communicate needs to management.

Experience

• Coffee Barista experience is mandatory.
• Baking experience is an asset.
• Familiarity with food handling practices is an advantage.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
