Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager to oversee daily operations within our retail environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of retail management principles. This role involves supervising staff, managing sales strategies, and ensuring exceptional customer service to drive business growth and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Oversee store operations, including merchandising, pricing, and inventory management.
  • Recruit, interview, and train new staff members to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Manage payroll, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Develop marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing clients.
  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Monitor sales performance and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Supervise cash handling procedures, POS transactions, and cashiering activities.
  • Coordinate purchasing decisions and manage vendor relationships for supplies and inventory.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to facilitate communication, training, and development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in retail management or store supervision with strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in negotiation, marketing, and sales management techniques.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are preferred to serve diverse customer bases.
  • Experience with payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and administrative functions.
  • Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—and phone etiquette.
  • Skilled in supervising staff recruitment, training & development, and performance evaluations.
  • Knowledge of POS systems, merchandising strategies, pricing tactics, and retail sales processes.
  • Ability to handle cash handling accurately and maintain organizational standards in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $36,447.88-$91,458.43 per year
