Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Kitchen Helper to join our food service team. The Kitchen Helper will support the kitchen staff in meal preparation, food handling, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Duties

• Assist with meal preparation and food assembly according to established recipes and standards
• Support kitchen staff with food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to ensure food safety compliance
• Help with basic cooking tasks under supervision, including chopping, mixing, and portioning ingredients
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations throughout shifts
• Ensure proper organization of ingredients and supplies for efficient kitchen operations
• Assist with serving food to customers or guests as needed
• Follow all safety protocols and hygiene standards to uphold a safe working environment
• Support inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying management of shortages

Experience

• Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation processes is advantageous
• Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is a plus
• Experience in the food industry demonstrates reliability and a strong work ethic in fast-paced settings
• Ability to work efficiently as part of a team while maintaining attention to detail in all tasks
• Willingness to learn new skills related to kitchen operations and food service standards

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.94-$18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
