Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Heavy-Duty Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair our moving trucks and equipment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical knowledge, works well in a team environment, and appreciates a safe and supportive workspace. Our shop is heated, and helpers are provided when required to handle heavy lifting tasks.

Duties

• Maintain and repair moving trucks, trailers, and other heavy equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform preventive maintenance.
• Maintain personal and company tools to ensure equipment readiness.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely.
• Collaborate with team members and use helpers when lifting heavy parts.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized shop.

Experience

• Journeyman Certification or apprenticeship in heavy duty mechanics.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with trucks and heavy equipment.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience working in a heated shop environment preferred.

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
