Border Security Specialist

Job Summary:

This is a career opportunity to work as a Customs and Border Protection Officer. The position involves enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations while facilitating the flow of legitimate trade and travel.

• You must be a U.S. Citizen with primary residency in the United States for at least three (3) of the last five (5) years.
• Be referred for selection before reaching your 40th birthday unless eligible for Veterans' Preference or have previously served in federal law enforcement.
• Possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level including detaining suspected violators, enforcing laws relating to importing/exporting merchandise/us entry/residence/departure from US territories/islands; utilizing intelligence techniques/behavior analysis for potential threats/risk assessments; conducting interviews/gathering information on suspected violators/lawful courses action/enforcement/administration;
