National Border Security Specialist

In order to safeguard our nation’s borders, we are seeking highly skilled individuals to join our workforce. As a Border Patrol Agent (BPA), you will play a vital role in protecting the American people by deterring illicit activity and enhancing the nation's economic prosperity.

• Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and customs laws requires keen observational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities. Inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations is also an essential duty.
• Maintaining surveillance from covert positions, including using infrared scopes during night operations, is critical in preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers at or near borders.
