Border Security Specialist

CBPOs play a critical role in enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations while facilitating legitimate trade and travel. They conduct inspections of individuals and conveyances, determine admissibility for entry into the United States, prevent illegal entry of individuals or goods with prohibited items such as contraband drugs etc.
