### Job Description

- Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws
- Preventing the smuggling of aliens and contraband at or near the borders
- Apprehending violators of state, federal, or immigration laws by utilizing various forms of complex technology such as surveillance systems and communications equipment.
The ability to exercise sound judgment when making arrests is essential. A courteous demeanor with people is also required in connection with law enforcement matters.
