The U.S. Border Patrol is seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals to join its team as a Border Patrol Agent . As a key member of our workforce, you will play a critical role in safeguarding America's borders and protecting national security.

This position involves performing law enforcement duties along the international border between ports of entry and within 100 miles of any external boundary line in accordance with 8 USC 1324a(h). Responsibilities include detecting, questioning suspects violating immigration laws; inspecting documents for compliance with regulations; apprehending violators through surveillance from covert positions using various government assets such as vehicles, vessels or aircraft.

• One (1) year general work experience demonstrating ability to take charge & make sound decisions in stressful situations OR bachelor’s degree with superior academic achievement or one full year graduate-level education in related field.


• Demonstrate ability to learn regulations & methods through classroom training &/or on-the-job instruction;


• Gather concise information through observation examination records,& question suspects when necessary;

The following may qualify for GL-9/GS11 level: Prior/current federal/civilian/military law enforcement service during past five years.​​
