As a BPA, you will be responsible for detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations. You will also prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens at or near the borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions using infrared scopes during night operations.

1. Detecting violators of immigration laws by monitoring border areas, conducting patrols on foot or horseback along trails used by smugglers。
