This is an entry-level position in law enforcement where you will have the opportunity to work with highly trained professionals who are dedicated to their daily mission. Your primary responsibilities include detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration and customs laws, inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations, preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers at or near the borders, maintaining surveillance from covert positions using infrared scopes during night operations, interpreting tracks marks physical evidence of illegal entry of persons or contraband performing farm checks building checks traffic checks city patrols transportation checks patrolling international boundaries coastal waterways government assets vehicles horses vessels watercraft off-road vehicles ATVs snowmobiles motorcycles.
