Border Security Professional

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of professionals dedicated to safeguarding our nation's borders. As a Customs and Border Protection Officer, you will play a critical role in enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws while facilitating the flow of legitimate trade and travel.

• You will be responsible for inspecting individuals and conveyances, determining admissibility for entry into the United States, preventing illegal entry, and seizing prohibited goods. Your work may involve conducting interviews with suspected violators of laws to determine appropriate courses of action.

You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level that includes detaining suspected violators of federal,state or local laws; enforcing regulations relating to importing exporting international shipping; utilizing intelligence techniques behavior analysis risk assessments law enforcement violation national security ; or conducting interviews law capacity gaining information from suspects determine course action.
