This is a high-level position within the U.S. Border Patrol, responsible for safeguarding America's borders and enforcing immigration laws.
About this role:
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws- Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers at or near the border- Interpreting physical evidence such as tracks, marks, etc.- Performing farm checks, building checks, traffic checks, city patrols, transportation checks ,
the international boundary, and coastal waterways using various government assets..
- Duty location impacts pay rates; locality pay for federal law enforcement is higher in some locations than others.
- A fully trained BPA may be eligible for up to an additional 25% of base pay per the BPA Pay Reform Act of 2014.
