What we'll work on:
- Designing and evolving a complex, data-heavy SQL Server system
- Data modeling and schema evolution
- Planning migration from several existing systems
- Refactoring old structures without breaking production
- Defining internal SQL standards and conventions
- Guiding junior developers and reviewing their code
- Discussing performance, execution plans, indexing strategy, concurrency, isolation levels, and long-term trade-offs
I'm not looking for someone who "used SQL in projects".
I'm looking for someone who has designed serious systems on SQL Server and understands the long-term consequences of database decisions.
Before applying, tell me about one interesting SQL Server decision you made. Something non-trivial where trade-offs mattered.
This serves two purposes: it helps me understand how you think and shows that you actually read the post.
Contract duration of more than 6 months. with 40 hours per week.
