About The Role
Process weekly cheque runs and EFT payments to vendors
Process weekly expense reports submitted by employees
Work closely with the accounting team to ensure each deadlines are met
Process all facets of Accounts Payable including coding vendor and sub-consultant invoices, rent requisitions and contract employee invoices in accordance with corporate guidelines
Process journal entries
Perform account reconciliations
Ad hoc reporting
Create expense reports for employees in BST when receipts are provided
Work to develop the expense report process with the billings team to understand the effects of the entries
Process foreign exchange wires
Manage petty cash
Work with vendors regarding payment
Train employees on accounts payable processes and coding
Implement BST Enterprise improvements

Your Resume Should Show Us
1-3 years of past relevant experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting processing and adhering to accounting best practices
Related education accomplishments such as courses, diploma, or a degree in an accounting related field
Problem solving abilities.
Must be detailed-oriented with a positive attitude.
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills when articulating responses.
Bonus Points For
Experience in consulting engineering
Knowledge of BST Enterprise, SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or Deltek
Strong team and customer service orientation
Self starter with the ability to work alone and as part of a team
