Summary
We are seeking a
Network Engineer (Wireless)
to support a large-scale government IT environment focused on mission-critical operations. This role supports enterprise network infrastructure that enables operational readiness, secure communications, and reliable IT services across a complex organization.
The Network Engineer will be responsible for installing, managing, securing, and troubleshooting wired and wireless network systems in a highly regulated environment, ensuring compliance with government security standards and best practices.
Responsibilities
Install, configure, troubleshoot, monitor, and maintain network systems including switches, routers, wireless access points, firewalls, and network appliances Implement and maintain
DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
for network compliance Evaluate and respond to network incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions Support approved change management processes Design, implement, and manage complex enterprise networks (routing, switching, and wireless) Monitor and analyze network activity using
SIEM tools
to identify and resolve events Implement and manage enterprise security protocols and policies Work with government and internal technical teams to support project objectives and resolve issues Technical Expertise

SD-Access, SD-WAN LAN/WAN planning, design, and implementation Hardware

Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline
and
a minimum of
4 years
of hands-on experience with Cisco enterprise networks OR 7+ years
of relevant experience in enterprise wired and wireless networking in lieu of a degree Required Certifications
Active CompTIA Security+ CE (or higher) Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
- Enterprise Core or Wireless Security Clearance
Active Top Secret Security Clearance required
