As a Border Patrol Agent, your primary responsibility will be to detect and apprehend individuals attempting to enter the country illegally. You will also work closely with other agencies, such as Customs and Border Protection (CBP), to prevent and investigate illegal activities along the border.

Key responsibilities include:

• Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration laws;


• Inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations;


• Preventing and apprehending aliens at or near the borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions;
  


• Lleading investigations into fraud, contraband smuggling,
  criminal activity threats
