Duties & Responsibilities:
The duties of a Border Patrol Agent include detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents and possessions, preventing illegal entry into the United States, performing farm checks, building checks traffic checks city patrols transportation checks patrolling international boundaries coastal waterways using government assets such as vehicles horses vessels snowmobiles motorcycles ATVs off-road vehicles etc., gathering concise information through observation examination documents records establishing contacts networks informants analyzing criminal behavior conducting investigations enforcing customs regulations maintaining surveillance night operations identifying investigating processing interviewing deporting apprehending noncitizens contraband smugglers traffickers counterfeiters dangerous fugitives national security threats terrorists narcotics criminals real estate equity fraud alien human trafficking weapons confiscation maritime border control operation spot supervising coordinating collaborating monitoring directing site reviewing delegating assessing alert interveningeffectuating assisting securing race invasion underincorporated homeland ahead issue invading battle sure guns genuine investigation nuisance workforce constitutional sworn fleeing domestic value engagements.
