Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to help us scale and enhance our cloud and automation environment within the Data Intelligence group. This role collaborates closely with the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCOE), focusing on infrastructure support for data, analytics, and machine learning applications on AWS. While not specifically an MLOps role, familiarity with ML services such as SageMaker and support for ML workflows from an infrastructure perspective are key aspects of the job. What You'll Do Construct and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation (Infrastructure as Code). Oversee containerized applications with ECS and optimize SageMaker infrastructure for ML teams. Design and enhance networking architecture, including VPCs, security groups, load balancers, and DNS. Maintain and refine CI/CD pipelines to facilitate automated testing, deployment, and rollback. Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment processes and reduce friction across environments. Implement infrastructure security measures and support compliance with standards like HIPAA and SOC2. Engage in reviews for cost optimization and system uptime monitoring while troubleshooting as necessary. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering within cloud-native production environments. Extensive knowledge of AWS services, notably ECS, EC2, VPC, IAM, and CloudWatch. Experience managing infrastructure for ML tools, specifically AWS SageMaker. Strong skills in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation. Proficient in scripting for deployment and automation using Python, Bash, or Ruby. Hands-on experience in creating secure, compliant cloud environments. Preferred Qualifications AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional certification. Experience in migrating legacy workloads to AWS. Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins. Understanding of how to support analytics and ML teams from an operations standpoint. What This Role Is Not This position does not focus on data science or MLOps roles, although you'll assist with ML infrastructure. This is not a strategic platform architect role. This is not about theoretical platform ownership; it’s a practical, engineering-driven role with a focus on structured, scalable infrastructure and automation in AWS. Location and Workplace Flexibility We have offices in Atlanta, GA, Boston, MA, Morristown, NJ, Plano, TX, St. Louis, MO, St. Petersburg, FL, and Hyderabad, India.
