Job Summary

As a Border Patrol Agent, you will be part of our team dedicated to protecting the American people by safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nation's economic prosperity.


Key Responsibilities
  • Detect and Question Suspects:  Detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration and customs laws.
  • Prevent Apprehensions:  Prevent undocumented noncitizens and smugglers from crossing the border.
  • Analyze Evidence:  Interpret tracks, marks, and other physical evidence to determine citizenship or violations.
