Job Title: Border Patrol Agent
This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of highly trained professionals who are dedicated to protecting the American people by safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nation's economic prosperity.
• This position requires applicants to possess one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in performing duties such as apprehending violators of state, federal or immigration laws by utilizing various forms of complex technology that include surveillance, detection and situation awareness systems. • The ability to speak and read Spanish fluently will be required upon completion of training at the U.S. Border Patrol Academy in Artesia New Mexico.
Duties And Responsibilities:
- To detect and question individuals suspected of violating customs regulations; inspect documents for discrepancies; utilize knowledge of physical evidence recovery techniques including observation skills with use on infrared scopes during night operations.
