Duties and Responsibilities:

• Enforcing immigration and customs regulations


• Inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations


• Pursuing undocumented noncitizens and smugglers at or near the borders using surveillance techniques


• Interpreting tracks, marks, and other physical evidence of illegal entry or contraband transport


• Carrying out farm checks, building checks, traffic checks, city patrols, transportation checks within international boundaries
