Protective Enforcement Officer

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection is seeking highly trained professionals to join our elite team of law enforcement officers. As a Border Patrol Agent, you will play a critical role in safeguarding America's borders and protecting its people.

A typical day for a BPA includes detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents and possessions, preventing unauthorized entry into the country, apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers of contraband.

>This is an intermittent position with variable work schedules including night shifts, weekends, holidays, overtime (up to 10 hours per week), off-duty standby time (up to 6 hours per week) or be called back from home on short notice.
