Protective Service Agent

The U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) is seeking highly skilled and dedicated individuals to join their team as Border Patrol Agents.

• Patrol the international border and coastal waterways using a variety of government assets, including vehicles, horses, vessels, watercraft, off-road vehicles, ATVs, snowmobiles, and motorcycles.


• Detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration laws and inspect documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.


• Prevent the smuggling of noncitizens at or near the borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions during night operations.

• Making sound judgments in high-pressure situations.


• Dealing effectively with people in a courteous manner while enforcing law enforcement matters.
