Border Patrol Job Description

We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team as Border Patrol Agents . As a Border Patrol Agent, you will play a critical role in safeguarding America's borders and protecting the American people.

• Detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration laws and inspect documents to determine citizenship or violations.
• Prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers at or near the borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions using infrared scopes during night operations.
• Interpret tracks, marks, and other physical evidence of illegal entry of persons or contraband.
• Perform farm checks, building checks, traffic checks, city patrols, transportation checks.
• Patrol international boundaries and coastal waterways using vehicles such as horses for accomplishment of USBP mission purposes. ,
