Hotel Housekeeper

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and common areas within the hotel. This role is essential in ensuring a positive experience for our guests by providing a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.
• Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain a neat appearance.
• Vacuum carpets and clean floors using appropriate cleaning equipment.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Restock cleaning supplies and report shortages as needed.
• Assist in the cleaning of common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and conference rooms.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial work is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and techniques is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions effectively.
• Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills to interact with guests and staff professionally.
