Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to lead our manufacturing operations and ensure the seamless flow of production processes. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily manufacturing activities on the factory floor, ensuring production targets are met efficiently and safely
- Daily production planning
- Receive raw materials, match quantities on documents.
- Assigning jobs to production workers, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance performance
- Inspect inventory for damage and report issues to Quality control as required.
- Monitor the use of hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and other equipment to ensure proper handling and safety compliance
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and work areas to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards
- Make sure all work orders have correct parts, correct quantity and packaged securely.
- Maintain accurate production records, logs, and reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement
- Order skid and packaging materials as required
- Organizing raw materials and finished goods and manage inventory allocation
- Assist with physical inventory control & count
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure all team members adhere to health and safety regulations within the manufacturing facility
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
Experience
- Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility or factory environment with hands-on assembly line exposure
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity using hand tools and power tools for assembly or maintenance tasks
- Warehouse experience including forklift operation certification is required
- Proficiency with prioritizing and meeting multiple deadlines
- Excellent time management
- Process improvement mindset
- Knowledge of inventory control
- Computer skills
- Prior experience with factory equipment maintenance or troubleshooting is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
