Property Maintenance Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Property Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various residential/commercial rental property maintenance tasks. Possess excellent problem-solving abilities and skills. Must have reliable tools for everyday handyman work, valid driver's license with clean driving record required. Driver's abstract, credit check and police criminal background check will be required. Company vehicle will be provided for this position.

Responsibilities
- Perform basic electrical, plumbing, and general property maintenance tasks. Familiar with Residential/Commercial HVAC systems would be considered an asset
- Experience in drywall repairs, painting, caulking, cleaning, landscaping and carpentry work is required
- Performing routine and scheduled maintenance of properties for residential and commercial properties (skills working as a residential construction handyman would be considered a plus)
- Participate in Rotating On-Call Services (bi-weekly)
- Provide exceptional customer service while addressing maintenance issues in occupied rental units

Qualifications
- Proficiency in electrical/plumbing work and troubleshooting
- Experience in drywall, painting and interior caulking
- Knowledge of Health and Safety and Emergency procedures
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Ability to perform a variety of maintenance tasks efficiently and effectively
