This position will be working in our Toronto office within the Private Infrastructure business of CBRE Investment Management. The Private Infrastructure team creates long-term value for its fund and separate account clients by sourcing, acquiring and managing high-quality investments and building comprehensive infrastructure portfolios. Today the dedicated team of over 70 professionals in Toronto, London, and Sydney invest approximately US$9.9 billion on behalf of institutional investors globally.
About The Role
We are looking to fill a summer internship position to work on our investments team on a variety of private markets research and private infrastructure investment activities. Working closely with all levels of the investment team, you will play an important role supporting a versatile team in making global investment decisions. You will get involved in conducting industry research, assisting with the preparation of investment recommendations, conducting analysis and due diligence of fund investments and direct and co-investments, conducting market and industry research, create financial models and be involved in reporting activities.
You will also have an opportunity to participate in various facets of portfolio management as well as conducting research for ad hoc projects.
What You Will Need
Candidates in their third, or fourth year of studies in Commerce, Finance or Business Administration, or in a related Master's or MBA program, with a strong academic record.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills, intellectual agility and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
Strong skill-set in financial modelling, valuation and analytics
Highly proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Further, you are an ambitious self-starter, a solid team player with a positive attitude and possess high professional and ethical standards.
You endeavor to perform work beyond what is required at your level and are willing to "roll up your sleeves" in an entrepreneurial environment to get work done as necessary.
You have a demonstrated ability to be resourceful and persistent in gathering and assessing information and to quickly assimilate knowledge.

CBRE Investment Management carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum compensation for this position is $31.25 per hour and the maximum potential compensation for the position is $31.25 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
