We're looking for a Principal Backend Developer to join our Manchester-based team. This is a senior technical leadership role for an experienced .NET engineer who can drive backend architecture, scalability, and best practices.
Tech Stack
.NET / .NET Core C# Web APIs SQL Server Azure (preferred)
The Role
Lead backend architecture and technical direction Design and build scalable, high-performance APIs Champion clean code, testing, and engineering standards Mentor and support developers within the team Collaborate closely with product and frontend teams
What We're Looking For
Strong commercial experience with .NET / C# Proven experience in a senior or principal-level role Deep understanding of API design and backend architecture Experience mentoring and influencing technical decisions Strong communication and leadership skills
