The Role
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to take full ownership of construction projects from pre-construction through close-out. You will be accountable for scope, budget, schedule, and team performance across multiple projects simultaneously, working directly with clients, subcontractors, consultants, and site teams to deliver results.
What You Will Do
- Lead construction projects from start to close-out with full accountability for scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk management
- Manage project financials including budgets, cost-to-complete reporting, forecasting, and change orders
- Build and maintain client relationships through clear communication and proactive issue resolution
- Lead and develop project teams including Assistant Project Managers and Project Coordinators
- Identify risks early, develop mitigation strategies, and adjust timelines and resources to keep projects on track
- Interpret technical documentation including drawings, geotechnical reports, and specifications to inform planning and construction methods
What You Need
Education and Experience
- Post-secondary education in construction management, engineering, or a related field
- Progressive experience in construction project management with a general contractor
- Experience across multiple sectors (commercial, residential, institutional, or industrial) is considered an asset
- Proven track record managing multiple complex projects simultaneously through full project lifecycle
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction documents, specifications, building codes, and Ontario regulatory requirements
- Experience with Procore or similar construction management software
- Proficiency in project scheduling, cost tracking, and financial reporting
