What your day and week could look like

Reporting to the Funding & Operations Senior Manager, a Funding Supervisor plays a critical role in leading a team of funding Analysts who are responsible for mitigating risk by verifying and validating consumer information and the accuracy of documentation provided for fulfillment of an auto loan.

Your responsibilities and duties include:

  • Ensuring an effective allocation of resources to meet or exceed key business unit performance metrics such as Service Level Agreement (SLA), Productivity, and Compliance.
  • Leading team huddles and group meetings to communicate group strategies, policy, and procedure updates, etc.
  • Providing timely, effective, and personalized coaching to funding analysts through regular one-on-one sessions to help achieve targets and maximize performance relative to established metrics.
  • Actively participating and/or leading departmental initiatives and action plans.
  • Conducting quality assurance audits to ensure adherence to funding policies and procedures. Initiate deeper dives of the analyst's work when warranted/required.
  • Acting as the escalation point for District Managers, Dealers, and Analysts for issues exceeding the responsibilities and authority of the Senior Analysts.
  • Conducting performance appraisals and establish effective development plans for all funding analysts.
  • Having a finger on the pulse of the Team and be both proactive and responsive to issues while ensuring an effective and cohesive group dynamic.
  • Ensuring various reports are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

What you bring

  • 3 - 5 years of related work experience in a leadership role within a credit lending, fulfillment, or call center environment or a combination of education and/or supervisory lending/funding experience.
  • Proven ability to motivate, lead, coach, and develop a team.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and proven ability to make sound decisions and solve problems.
  • Self-starter with thorough, strong research, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent time management skills, sense of organization and ability to set priorities with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and team building skills with a demonstrated ability to work harmoniously in a team environment.
  • Highly developed customer focused drive to succeed and win in a very competitive market.
  • Proficiency with loan origination software and Microsoft tools - Intermediate to advanced user experience with Excel, Word, and Outlook.
