JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Production Operator is a hands-on production role responsible for the assembly and processing of electrical wire harnesses and cable assemblies in accordance with documented work instructions and product design specifications. This role supports consistent production through careful workmanship, attention to detail, and adherence to established procedures and safety standards.

Production Operators work across a range of production tasks as part of a cross-functional production team. Tasks are assigned based on training, demonstrated capability, production demand, and business priorities. Responsibilities may include harness assembly, operation of wire-processing machinery, product inspection, work documentation, and general production tasks. This role requires a willingness to learn, collaborate, and adapt while maintaining quality and accuracy throughout the production life cycle.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Permanent

This position can be structured as either part-time or full-time, depending on the candidate.

Hours:

  • Monday - Thursday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Friday: 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical training in electronics or manufacturing is an asset.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or shop setting preferred.
  • Experience in electronics manufacturing, wire processing, harness and cable assembly, or electronics soldering is an asset, but not required.

Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Focused on quality and results.
  • Punctuality and reliabilty.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a diverse, hard-working team.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, sit, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
  • Lift and move objects up to 50lbs
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with standard PPE requirements.
