Front Desk Agent / Night Auditor – IHG Hotel

We are looking for a reliable and guest-focused Front Desk Agent/Night Auditor to join our IHG property. This position plays an important role in creating a positive first and last impression for our guests while supporting daily operations and overnight procedures.

In this role, you will assist with arrivals and departures, manage reservations, and provide helpful information about the hotel and local area. During overnight shifts, you will also complete daily financial balancing, support property safety, and ensure smooth operations while other departments are offline.

This is a fast-paced hospitality environment, and flexibility is important. Candidates must be available for AM, PM, and overnight shifts as required by the schedule.

What You'll Do

  • Welcome guests and handle check-in and check-out processes efficiently

  • Manage reservations, updates, and cancellations

  • Share information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions

  • Respond to guest requests and resolve concerns professionally

  • Monitor room availability and rates

  • Complete night audit duties, balance daily transactions, and prepare reports

  • Work closely with housekeeping and maintenance to support guest satisfaction

  • Stay informed about property activities, events, and group arrivals

  • Promote hotel services when appropriate

  • Report incidents or unusual activity to leadership

  • Assist with shuttle transportation when required

  • Support other operational tasks as assigned

What We're Looking For

  • Previous front desk, reception, or hospitality experience is an asset

  • Familiarity with hotel reservation systems (HotelKey experience is a plus)

  • Comfortable using Gmail and basic Microsoft Office tools

  • Knowledge of cash handling and credit card procedures

  • Clear communication skills and professional phone etiquette

  • Experience working with OTA platforms such as Expedia, Priceline, , or

  • Positive, service-driven attitude

  • Strong organization and multitasking ability

  • Valid driver's license required
