Marlow is leading the next wave of menstrual wellness through innovative, sustainable, and comfortable period care. We created the first-ever lubricated tampon for smoother and more comfortable insertion and our products are 100% organic and toxin-free. It's sold on Amazon
and in over 200 retail locations across Canada and the US including Whole Foods. Beyond the product, we've built a viral following of over 100,000 individuals through our educational social media content called "The TMI Club" where we break down topics that are typically considered "TMI" around periods and women's health. We've been featured in Forbes, Well and Good, Buzzfeed, Breakfast Television, The Morning Show, and more. We recently closed our seed round of $2M and are looking to grow.
We are looking for a results-driven and motivated account executive to join our team to help drive revenue growth in our retail and B2B channels. This role is ideal for an experienced account executive who wants to leverage their expertise and work for a fast-growing startup.
The Role
The Marlow products are stocked at corporate offices across the country and are available for free for employees to take. This contributes to a positive workplace environment that enhances employee wellbeing and ensures no one is caught empty handed while on their period.
As an account manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies for our retail (e.g. Whole Foods) and B2B (e.g. government, corporate offices) channels, generating leads, closing deals, and nurturing client relationships. You will work closely with our founding team to identify opportunities and drive business expansion.
What you'll do
● Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
● Identify and evaluate potential partners and leads based on strategic fit, market presence, and growth potential
● Qualify leads through research, networking, and outreach.
● Conduct sales presentations, demos, and meetings with potential clients.
● Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and existing customers.
● Manage the sales pipeline, track progress, and report key performance metrics. ● Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding and satisfaction.
Negotiate and execute contracts, lead ongoing customer engagement and retention activities
What we're looking for
● 3+ years and proven experience in sales, preferably in the consumer products sector ● Strong ability to generate leads and close deals independently.
● Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
● Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work autonomously.
● Familiarity with CRM tools and sales automation platforms is a plus.
