À propos

Your Opportunity:
Are you a physiotherapist who is passionate about neurological rehabilitation? Are you looking for a dynamic, collaborative team environment? The Community Accessible Rehabilitation (CAR) program might be the place for you. CAR is an ambulatory rehabilitation program that supports clients who have transitioned out of acute/tertiary care and who have functional-based rehabilitation goals that can be addressed in a time-limited community-based program. The CAR physiotherapist (PT) will support direct patient care in the areas of complex and chronic neurological rehabilitation (eg: stroke, acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, Parkinson's). Approximately 80% of the role will be assigned to clinical care of clients. We are looking for a PT with clinical experience in the assessment and treatment of clients with complex neurological conditions who demonstrates leadership in the area of evidence-based practice. The PT works as part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team and will operate in a client-centered, functional, outcome-based rehabilitation model. The CAR program transitioned to Assisted Living Alberta in January 2026. CAR is a multisite program, and this position is based out of the Peter Lougheed Center in Calgary. The days of work are Monday-Thursday. The caseload for all positions within CAR may be subject to change based on operational considerations.
