Each day will be different; you will support assembly processes and test activities, be responsible for investigating the validity and quality of products and processes, and find solutions for non-conformities of parts arising from production or supply chain. This involves daily interaction with various teams, including engineering, production, and after-market.
This is a full-time, Monday to Friday day shift position based in Mississauga and performed exclusively on-site (office and production).
What will your day-to-day look like?
Complete conforming engine documentation as to engine certification (logbook)
Visual inspection of engines before delivery
Document engine parts conformity
Update customer portal and other with required engine information
Complete virtual documentation related to engine / part certification
Participate and support quality investigations
Coordinate new AI/ODA training when applicable.
Under the quality manager, you will be responsible for investigating the validity and quality of the -product and processes to be able to sign the authorized release certificate for production engines and parts in accordance with TCCA and FAA regulations.
Authorized Inspectors are approved by Manager, Quality System & Processes (QS&P) as delegated by Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA).
You will ensure product integrity and Quality control and perform visual inspections as needed. You will interact daily with the various teams, including engineering.
What do you need to be successful?
A minimum of 2 years inspection in green run inspection or equivalent.
Good verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.
Expertise in and knowledge of aeronautic parts manufacturing.
Experience in reading plans and geometric tolerances.
Knowledge of Microsoft tools (mandatory).
Knowledge of problem-solving processes (e.g.: DIVE).
Experience in quality control and in using measuring devices.
Good interpersonal communication.
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to multi-task.
Knowledge of SAP (an asset).

The selected candidate will be required to complete a criminal background check and any applicable clearances with respect to the handling and transfer of controlled goods. The salary range for this role is 54,000 CAD - 93,150 CAD . The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
