Title: Sales Account Manager - Sustana Recovery

MANDATE
The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing clients while actively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. This role involves building strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions to drive sales and ensure customer satisfaction. The Sales Account Manager collaborates closely with internal teams to deliver on service expectations and meet revenue targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain and grow the existing book of business by building strong relationships with current clients and ensuring their ongoing satisfaction.
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the Toronto areas to expand our customer base. This includes new customers that generate material and customers that procure it.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
Utilize excellent verbal and written communication skills to present proposals, negotiate and provide exceptional customer service.
Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations and support the overall success of the business.
Provide formal updates on sales activities, market conditions, and customer feedback for senior management
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 5 years B2B sales experience required
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred
Experience in the wastepaper recycling or waste management industry is highly preferred
Strong verbal and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel
A positive, team-player attitude, with the willingness to assist in other internal operations as needed.
OTHER INFORMATIONS
The Sales Account Manager will be expected to travel to Sustana facilities, customer and prospect locations between Buffalo and Toronto as needed. Overnight travel will be minimal.
