We are looking for a Workday HRIS Specialist , to support and continuously improve HRIS initiatives within our People function. This role focuses on hands-on configuration, testing and HRIS optimisation across our core HR processes. This role is pivotal in enhancing our employee experience and improving operational efficiency to align with broader business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Workday, HR Systems, AI & Technology
Configure and maintain Workday Core HCM functionality, including HR business processes, notifications, security and data updates. Analyse and streamline People/HR processes through automation, UAT testing, improved workflows, and self-service utilisation.
Oversee People Team data integrity, reporting, dashboards, and analytics, generating insights that drive strategic decision-making.
Support the rollout of new Workday modules, enhancements, system upgrades, and AI-enabled solutions.
Process Improvement and Change Management
Identify opportunities to streamline and automate HR processes including process redesign, technology adoption, and workforce enablement.
Partner with senior HR and business leaders to define strategic objectives and deliver innovative solutions.
Develop and execute change management strategies, ensuring smooth adoption of new processes and technologies.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for efficiency and scalability.
Support the transition towards a more digital, self-service, and data-driven People function.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
Work closely with People team, IT, Finance, and other business teams to align technology with organisational goals.
Provide training, guidance, and support to People team and employees on new systems and processes.
Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, offering strategic insights on HRIS transformation.
What we are looking for:
Experience working with Workday HCM in a hands-on configuration or HRIS support role.
Proven experience in HRIS business transformation, HR technology, or HR operations.
Strong knowledge of People processes, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and payroll.
Experience in process improvement, automation, and system implementation.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
Expertise in excel, data analysis, reporting, and people metrics to support strategic decision-making.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Change management experience, with a track record of driving adoption and engagement.
Nice to have:
Workday HCM certification.
Previous consulting or advisory experience in HRIS transformation projects.
Experience in agile, or similar, delivery methodologies.
