About You:
You're a big picture thinker with an eye for the little details. You're happiest when you're supporting a busy team of creatives and producers in an exciting environment. Your contribution to the team though your efforts to input financial information and provide clear information for the Financial Controller has an impact every day. You work independently and efficiently, proactively contributing to the secure financial outlook of our team.
The Opportunity:
Organize, validate and file invoices, receipts and other financial documentation
Prepare various reports pertaining to our monthly reporting package
Create and send invoices
Manage financial summaries and accounting analytics
Update internal accounting files
Create and process general journal entries
Complete clerical duties supporting the activities of the accounting group, such as summarizing data, verifying data to source documents, assembling and distributing financial reports
Reconcile general ledger accounts including bank deposits and reconciliations
Independently use Quickbooks and Excel daily in a business setting
Various tasks as assigned
Come Prepared to Talk about:
Your previous experience working with accounting software like Quickbooks, Sage etc.
Your intermediate level Excel skills
Your interest in gaining hands on experience within a creative industry
Your ability to keep organized and your keen attention to detail
This role reports to our Finance Director
Tendril is a hybrid company with a mandatory in office day on Thursdays (lunch is provided)
Compensation: $55,000
