Senior/Principal Platform Systems Mechanical Engineer

Location: Barrow-in-Furness (Full-time on-site presence required)

As a key player in our team, you will:

• Develop design evidence to ensure safe and effective solutions, boosting customer confidence.
• Specify and assist in building prototypes and systems for testing.
• Provide timely corrective actions on defects and issues.
• Ensure commitments are agreed upon, reviewed, and met.
• Mentor junior engineers on technical matters.
• Make impactful presentations to both technical and management audiences, staying updated on novel concepts.
• Author technical reports , papers, patents, and presentations as needed.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Holds a degree in Engineering, Mechanical, or Science subjects.
• Can create and present design documentation to customers and wider groups.
• Is adept at solving complex engineering calculations.
• Is proficient in CAD, MS Office, and comfortable with various IT applications.
